Medical work needed in Nansana
Job Description: our medical program involves medical students and medical professionals all are welcome to join. Our health program areas include malaria control, HIV/AIDS, adolescent sexual reproductive health, and community health education to prevent other diseases and improve sanitation and hygiene in the community. This project aims to increase excellence healthcare access for Ugandan people. Volunteers work on this project includes assisting with the running of a local health clinic where you will be involved with helping treatment of malaria and other diseases, make a diagnosis, vaccinations, basic first aid, maternity services and HIV/AIDS testing and counseling, IV starts and laboratory work. Mid-wives can work in the maternity ward assisting with prenatal and antenatal care; however other work includes outpatient services. Volunteers can also help the staff to record injections or immunizations, serving to give out medications, , giving educational discussion group on nursing skills, nutrition or any other matter that is required in the community you are placed. Medical volunteers are required to hand copies of their qualifications and certificates on arrival in Uganda

Mentor Volunteers Uganda also known as Centre for Child Advocacy and Life Planning is a small charity registered in Uganda (CBO No. 992) interested in improving and providing high quality education to orphans , children from extreme poor families and children neglected of their right to education in Uganda. We are operating a kindergarten, 2 elementary schools and a high school . all our schools support orphans and other vulnerable children with over 800 children. we are a community development solution to support our community children
Child neglect occur in all sections of our society, but the risk factors are greater in orphaned families, parents having economic challenges ,have difficulty controlling anger, alcohol or drugs abused ,have little to no education and were abused or neglected as children
